Blogger Words?

Ha!
I couldn't help but get a kick out of the random "words" that Blogger generates for its word verification algorithm. Some might even make great band names and/or logos! Ladies and Gentlemen... I give you...

THE BLOGGER BAND NAME AND LOGO GENERATOR!!!

Maybe they can make a small program out of that, and use it in the arsenal against Microsoft? Who knows? Gotta go!

I don't disagree with you - that is a good point. I know that our neighbor to the north of us (Canada) has been helpful to us, and I deeply appreciate that. Thank you for reminding me of this. Perhaps I was a bit short-sighted in my approach. I, like many other folks, have let myself get caught up in the moment.

Yes, the tsumani death toll was unbelievably astronomical. No doubt about that! I appreciate our friends that have answered the call, but as far as deciding how much aid we need, in comparison to the number of deaths, I am not so sure I agree with you in that respect.

Let's face facts: death is death - whether it be 200,000, or 2,000. This is a state of emergency, and honestly, anyone who wishes to come to our aid is more than free to do so.

My point was simply this - we have helped so many other countries in times of need, regardless of the fact that we have troubles of our own - poverty, homelessness, hunger, etc. So much has been spent on foreign aid that could have also gone to help deserving Americans as well.

I'm not saying that I want to discontinue any type of aid, but I am saying this - it's time that some of our other "friends," whom we have helped in the past, do the honorable thing and take the time to help us. I can't be anymore blunt than this.

Thank you once again for taking the time to air your views and concerns.
